Jordan, World Central Kitchen send humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza
The convoy, which entered Gaza on Tuesday via the Zikim crossing, included 36 trucks carrying vital food supplies. It was organized in collaboration with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) and the World Central Kitchen.
The delivery comes amid worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza, where continued conflict and disrupted supply chains have left many in urgent need of assistance.
Since last week, Jordan has sent a total of 147 aid trucks to Gaza, with 111 coordinated through the World Food Program and the remaining 36 through the World Central Kitchen. The convoys have focused on providing essential food items, particularly flour.
The organization said preparations are underway for additional shipments, stressing that the aid is being delivered directly to those most in need.
