The strike sparked a fire at the facility, and emergency crews worked to extinguish the blaze. Brechalov later confirmed that three people were killed in the attack and 35 others were hospitalized, with ten reported to be in critical condition.
The attack is part of Kiev’s ongoing campaign of long-range drone strikes deep inside Russian territory. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that it had intercepted 60 kamikaze drones overnight.
Izhevsk, the capital of Udmurtia, is located about 1,200 kilometers from Ukrainian-controlled territory.
