DOJ, FBI Dismiss Epstein Conspiracy Claims

(MENAFN) The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have concluded that there is no proof supporting claims that Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender and discredited financier, extorted powerful figures, kept a "client list," or was assassinated, according to a news report published on Sunday.

This conclusion was outlined in a memorandum that was acquired by a news outlet, as noted in the report by the US-based news platform.

The Trump administration is now making public both the unedited and "enhanced" versions of surveillance footage which, it asserts, demonstrate that no individual entered the section of the Manhattan detention center where Epstein was confined on the night of his death in 2019.

The two-page document asserts that the video supports the findings of the medical examiner, who determined that Epstein died by suicide.

These revelations mark the first official rebuttal from President Donald Trump’s administration against the conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s alleged activities and his death.

Such theories were previously promoted by the FBI’s top two officials before they were appointed by Trump.

Kash Patel, now serving as the FBI’s director, and Dan Bongino, currently its deputy director, are both prominent social media figures and political activists.

They were among the supporters of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement who initially raised doubts about the official explanation for Epstein’s demise.

Both individuals have since acknowledged that Epstein took his own life. Despite this, a substantial number of people—especially within right-wing communities online—continue to believe that Epstein’s actions implicated public officials, celebrities, and corporate executives, and that he may have been silenced to hide these connections.
