Russia Ramps Up Arms Production Across All Categories
Addressing lawmakers in Moscow, Alikhanov confirmed that the military sector is expanding its capacity to fulfill both domestic needs and foreign orders.
"Collectively, we have significantly increased production volumes across all types of weaponry. At meetings with the president regarding the state armament program project, the industry confirmed its readiness to fully implement all announced plans," he stated.
By 2025, Russia has positioned itself as the third-largest arms exporter in the world, according to data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). The United States and France maintain the top two spots.
