Iranian Strikes on Israel Injure Nearly One Hundred
Out of the 94 people treated for injuries, one remains in moderate condition. Eighty-five others sustained minor wounds, while five patients are still being assessed as doctors work to determine the extent of their injuries.
Israeli media reported that the barrage led to damage in central Israel, where missile fragments struck a building. Emergency responders were deployed to extinguish fires that engulfed 20 vehicles.
In northern Israel, falling debris and missile remnants sparked numerous fires across open fields and agricultural areas, adding to the chaos.
The latest escalation traces back to Israeli air raids on Friday that targeted various strategic locations across Iran, including sites tied to its military and nuclear programs. That offensive provoked Iran’s direct retaliation in the form of missile strikes.
Israeli officials report that, since those retaliatory attacks began, at least 24 individuals have died and several hundred more have been wounded.
Meanwhile, Iranian state media claim their country has suffered far greater losses, reporting 585 deaths and over 1,300 injuries as a result of the Israeli bombardments.
